D2N2 – the Local Enterprise Partnership for Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire – is just days away from revealing its big goal at its Growth Plan launch.
And our Chief Executive David Ralph will appear on the BBC Sunday Politics Show this weekend just 48 hours before D2N2 unveils its vision for the next ten years at a special event at Pride Park Stadium, Derby, this Tuesday.
Mr Ralph was filming at Cromford Mills this week, discussing the economy and all things D2N2 for an extended feature on this Sunday’s show.
It will run in the lead up to Tuesday’s free event launch when Toyota Deputy Managing Director Tony Walker, who also chairs the Lowland Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Local Nature Partnership, will speak as well as D2N2 Chairman Peter Richardson and Mr Ralph.
All businesses, from micro to large scale, are welcome to attend, as well as figures from all areas of the private and public sector. It runs from 8am to 10.30am.
The event will see D2N2 set out its goal for job creation and the latest on its Growing Places Fund and Unlocking Investment for Growth grant scheme.
