As businesses begin to reopen following shutdown during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Government has issued advice to all employers.
Before opening an employer should:
- Do a Covid-19 Risk Assessment
- Follow Cleaning and Hygiene Rules
- Help all those that can work from home to do so
- Ensure employees remain 2m apart where possible
- If 2m not possible, take the necessary steps to manage the risk
Sector-Specific Guidance
The government, in consultation with industry, has produced guidance to help ensure workplaces are as safe as possible for employees and members of the public.
These 8 guides cover a range of different types of work. Many businesses operate more than one type of workplace, such as an office, factory and fleet of vehicles.
As an employer, you may need to use more than one of these guides as you think through what you need to do to keep people safe.
