THE final business breakfast run by D2N2 – the Local Enterprise Partnership for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire – will take place in Buxton this month.
The free event is the last of six to be held to meet with businesses and other partners to give local firms and partner organisations the chance to find out more about the LEP, its activities to date and its future plans.
It will also help them feed in their views and identifying any key priorities or issues which may influence the LEP’s Growth Plan, investment initiatives, skills strategy and its work on business regulation.
The Palace Hotel, in Buxton, will host the event on Monday April 22 from 7.30am to 10am. The original event was scheduled for last month but cancelled due to the adverse weather.
D2N2 Chief Executive David Ralph said: “This briefing will give local businesses and partners in Buxton and the surrounding areas the opportunity to find out more about D2N2 and its plans for the future and I would urge all businesses who want to have their say about the support they need to grow to book on to come.”
D2N2 LEP has been established to drive economic growth, job creation and prosperity across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
