D2N2 Innovation Summit – It’s Time to Innovate

It’s time to innovate. Are you an innovating business or do you need to innovate to develop new products, reach new markets or reduce costs?
Between 2014 and 2020 the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership will be deploying £50m into business support measures to aide business innovation and is shaping the strategy for innovation support. At this summit we will outline the current state of business innovation in the D2N2 area, the support currently available and seek the views of businesses to shape what support is needed in coming years. Speakers will include representatives from innovating businesses, David Ralph, the CEO of the D2N2 LEP and Professor John Coyne, Vice-Chancellor at the University of Derby.
Programme
- 8am – Refreshments, networking and innovation fair – with representatives from existing support programmes
- 8:30am – Presentations, including an overview of the current state of business innovation in the D2N2 area, case studies from innovating businesses, an overview of the emerging innovation strategy and an opportunity to contribute to the future of innovation business support programmes.
- 9:30am – Networking and innovation fair
- 10:30 – close
This event is primarily aimed at businesses in the D2N2 area and representatives from partners.
