The D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership will be hosting a stand at the Nottingham Trent University Showcase next week.
The University is opening its doors to show the huge variety of business and professional services they offer.
As a business-focused University, it understands the importance of providing practical, cost-effective solutions for all organisations, of any size, including public, private and voluntary sectors.
And representatives of D2N2, a business-led partnership set up to drive local economic growth and job creation in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, will be at the event to offer information on the work it is undertaking as the Local Enterprise Partnership.
The Showcase will take place on Thursday April 25 between 3pm and 7pm at the University’s Newton and Arkwright building at the City site.
Those attending will have the opportunity to:
• Access the wider knowledge and resources across NTU
• Meet the experts
• Listen to key speakers who have already benefited from working with NTU
• Visit specialist areas for enterprise and business start-ups
• Discover information on EU and Government funding.
There will also be three more information zones to find out about:
Talent: Whether you’re interested in graduate recruitment, student placements, or help to solve a specific problem, talented students can add real value to your business.
Skills: From short courses and postgraduate degrees to workshops and accredited training, learning and development programmes can be tailored to suit your staffing needs.
Innovation: Many of the University’s academic experts have industry experience, and real-world research and consultancy can bring about practical change and improvements to any business.
Trent University is encouraging as many people as possible to attend the free event, discuss their business challenges and find out how the University can help.
