D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership chief executive David Ralph was attending the all party Parliamentary LEP Group meeting at House of Commons this morning with DCLG Minister Mark Prisk.
The event was being held prior to the LEP Network Annual Conference, scheduled to start at 10am in London today.
At the Conference, Mr Ralph will be joined by D2N2 chairman Peter Richardson and board member Peter Gadsby.
Mark Prisk MP, Patrick McLoughlin MP, the Secretary of State for Transport and Vince Cable, the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills were all due to speak at the event as well as Ashok Vaswani, the CEO of UK Retail and Business Banking, from Barclays.
A LEP chairman panel session is also planned with Lord Heseltine due to speak this afternoon about how his report will be implemented.
David Frost, the LEP Network chair, will close the event with his final remarks.
