Michele Farmer

Michele is Director for the Prince's Trust in Central England, helping young people to get their lives on track and secure work or self-employment.
Having trained as a curator, Michele worked with arts organisations in and around Bristol, including being the founder director of Spike Island and Deputy Director at Watershed.
She is a board member of Arnolfini and one of the founding directors of Boomsatsuma. She has served on Arts Council England's Regional Board and school governing bodies, including Oasis Brightstowe and Bristol Cathedral Choir School.
She has devised and led many programmes for young people and have a particular interest in those who are at risk, which has led her to work with youth offending teams, local and national charities, parents and young people.
Her local government experience includes senior leadership in children's services, championing Early Intervention and Prevention and SEND through strategic partnerships, management of complex services and effective commissioning.
