Rachel QuinnHead of People & Skills
Rachel joined D2N2 in 2016. Her current role is as D2N2 Skills Lead; responsible for D2N2’s skills, careers and employability strategy and programmes. Prior to her current role, Rachel led D2N2 policy relating to inclusion and facilitated strategic engagement of the voluntary and community sector (VCS). Rachel forms part of D2N2’s ESF Technical Assistance project team.
Rachel’s career to date has spanned three sectors, including the financial sector and local authority Environmental Health.
Prior to joining D2N2 she had senior roles within the VCS, in both urban and rural settings. Rachel’s professional interests include health, housing, inclusive growth, careers and multi-agency working.
She is a former Director of the Greater Nottingham (economic) Partnership, former Board Member of the East Midlands Regional Assembly and was the first VCS Deputy Chair of a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) programme. Rachel was local VCS representative for the national Growth Programme Board until 2015.
Outside her D2N2 role Rachel is a Director of the British Sub Aqua Club and is well known for her love of Deerhounds.
