Free Webinar: Preventing work related stress
Awareness of the impact of poor mental health at work is increasing – in 2018, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) found that poor mental health was the most common cause of long-term sickness absence in UK workplaces and that stress-related absence had increased in nearly two-fifths of organisations (CIPD 2018).
Many people are still reluctant to speak up about their emotional and mental health because they believe that it could harm their promotion and career opportunities. On the other hand, not all Managers are confident to discuss work related stress and mental health fearing that they could make matters worse.
Getting the balance between formal approaches and feeling confident to have supportive conversations can make a difference in preventing work related stress. This webinar will explore the causes of stress at work, how to have wellbeing conversations and the use of wellbeing action plans.
