D2N2 is proud to manage a £44.4 million allocation from the Getting Building Fund.

In July 2020, Government awarded D2N2 £44.4m to fund ‘shovel-ready’ projects to help the local economy and create jobs.

The funding forms part of a comprehensive plan by the government to deliver upgrades to local infrastructure and boosting skills in a move to fuel economic recovery across the whole of the UK in the wake of Coronavirus.

D2N2 received the sixth largest allocation of the 38 LEPs in England with £900m being awarded nationally across 300 projects.

The funds will be used to improve digital infrastructure; support skills and career opportunities; and the transition to a low carbon economy.

Ten projects have now allocated funding from across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, and Nottinghamshire.

D2N2 is proud to be using the Getting Building Fund to support ten projects across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, and Nottinghamshire.
