Colin Walton, Chairman of the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership, welcomed the £160 million investment. He said “From day one, securing investment in the A453 has been a priority for the Local Enterprise Partnership. Whilst we wait to see the details, improving the A453 will reduce congestion, boost business and improve safety.”
Nottingham business leader, David Robinson, D2N2 Board Member and President of Speedo said “The widening of the A453 will be good news for business and will make Nottingham more attractive for investment. We want to see work begin as soon as possible.”
