Careers Education
Just as important as our current workforce is our future one.
D2N2 works with secondary schools and further education colleges in the shared pursuit of inspiring young people about their future career options and personal potential.
To deliver this activity, D2N2 operates several initiatives across our region, accessible to employers no matter how much time they’re able to offer.

Give an Hour
The Give an Hour campaign invites everyone to make a difference to the young people in your area by giving just an hour of your time by delivering careers related activities or hosting an inspiring
experience at your workplace.
We'd particularly like to hear from you if you own or work in an SME.

Enterprise Adviser Network
The Enterprise Adviser Network links schools to local employers for the benefit of young people across the region.
Employer volunteers, called Enterprise Advisers, partner with an individual secondary school or college, and use their business experience and networks to help a school develop a strong careers programme.
Cornerstone Employer
A cornerstone employer works with D2N2 and the business community to strategically support careers provision with a cluster of secondary schools and colleges in an area.
