D2N2 are proud to be investing £25.3 million from the Local Growth Fund into the redevelopment of the Broadmarsh area.
The project includes the demolishing and rebuilding Broadmarsh car park and bus station, the pedestrianisation of (upper) Carrington Street, and the creation of a new public space on Collin Street which will also be pedestrianised.
The Broadmarsh area redevelopment will be finished by 2021 and will also feature the new intu Broadmarsh centre.
The Broadmarsh redevelopment is part of a £250million regeneration of what is termed the ‘Nottingham Southside’ project encompassing the southern side of Nottingham.
Other projects included in the Nottingham Southside project include the Nottingham City Hub and the redeveloped Nottingham Castle.
The Broadmarsh area should be finished by 2021.
