Businesses and other interested parties will be able to put their questions to D2N2’s Chief Executive David Ralph when the LEP hosts its business breakfasts in Newark and Nottingham this week.
D2N2 – the Local Enterprise Partnership for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire – has already attended a number of events after being invited from business leaders in both areas.
And now it will host its own business breakfast to engage further about its activities to date and future plans, and how they could benefit Newark, Nottingham and the surrounding areas.
The breakfasts – which are free to attend – will run from 7.30am to 10am and take place on:
Wednesday June 19 – Kelham House Country Manor, Newark
Thursday, June 20 – Woodborough Hall, Nottingham
Mr Ralph will take part in a roundtable question and answer session at the breakfasts and they are a last chance for businesses and key partners to have a say prior to D2N2 launching its Growth Plan at Pride Park Stadium, in Derby, on Tuesday July 9, an event which has already attracted strong interest from across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
D2N2 Chief Executive David Ralph said: “The first series of business breakfasts we held across the area were a real success and very informative and we are looking forward to staging some more in different locations.
“We have listened and engaged and these events will give us a further chance to engage and discuss whatever the audience would like to talk about.”
Further D2N2 breakfast events are being held in Chesterfield and Long Eaton next week.
