Leader of Rushcliffe Borough Council, Nottinghamshire Districts Representative

Simon was elected to represent Edwalton back in 2011. In 2014 he was appointed onto the Cabinet with responsibility for Finance & the Economy. In 2015 he was elected as Deputy Leader of The Council and elected as Leader in 2017. He has also served on the Planning Committee, Alcohol Licencing, Performance Management Boards, Civic Relocation Committee and the Edwalton Golf Course Asset Review.

In 2015 he established and chaired the Growth Boards for West Bridgford and Bingham / Radcliffe as well as sitting on the Cotgrave Strategic Board. Simon has lived in Rushcliffe for over 30 years and currently owns and runs businesses in property and leisure, and is a partner in a London investment syndicate.
