The D2N2 Growth Hub team will be at the Digital Derbyshire Conference and Expo 2015 next month (April), supporting its mission to update businesses with all the latest information on the rapidly changing world of internet marketing and technology.
Places are still available for small businesses to learn how to market and advertise their goods and services on the web, at the free event on Thursday April 16, running from 9:15am to 4pm, at Buxton’s Pavilion Gardens, St John’s Road, Buxton. It is open to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) looking to find out how to take advantage of the new and exciting opportunities available to them to market goods and services, via the internet.
D2N2 – the Local Enterprise Partnership for Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire – is fully committed to the delivery of superfast broadband across its area and is set to invest £4.8m through its Local Growth Fund in order to ensure that all businesses in the area can gain access to the advantages of high-speed internet. There will be an update on the progress of this project at the conference.

D2N2 will be sending the D2N2 Growth Hub team – a business support organisation set up in December (2014) to encourage and aid business growth across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
The Conference will feature talks from business support agencies such as UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and the Manufacturing Advice Service (MAS). Attendees will also be able to hear from small businesses who are already enjoying the increased rewards of internet marketing and a social networking expert Liam Lally, who can teach them how to manage their online activity.
This event is funded by Derbyshire County Council, the East Midlands Chamber and the European Regional Development Fund, and will be managed and delivered by the East Midlands Chamber’s eBusiness Club team.
