Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) learnt all about how the internet and superfast broadband can be used to maximise business operations, at Buxton’s Pavilion Gardens, St John’s Road, Buxton, today. The D2N2 Growth Hub team attended to meet and network, fielding business enquiries and raising awareness of the business support and advice on offer.
D2N2 – the Local Enterprise Partnership for Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire – is fully committed to the delivery of superfast broadband across its area and is investing £4.8m through its Local Growth Fund to ensure businesses in the area can gain access to the advantages of high-speed internet.
The D2N2 Growth Hub was set up by D2N2 to encourage and aid SMEs, signposting towards business support and advice in the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire area, and helping to create jobs.
