The government’s new Help to Grow: Management programme will support senior managers of small and medium sized businesses to boost their business’s performance, resilience, and long-term growth.
This 12-week course will support you to build your capabilities in leadership, innovation, digital adoption, employee engagement, marketing, responsible business, and financial management. By the end of the programme you will develop a business growth plan to help you lead your business to release its potential.
The programme is open for registrations now for businesses in Derby and Nottingham.
The courses, which start on 5 July and 19 July, will be delivered by the small business experts at Derby Business School and the Nottingham Business School and combines a practical curriculum with 1:1 mentoring.
The course is 90% funded by the Government and has been designed to allow participants to complete it alongside full-time work.

Who is it for?
Designed to be manageable alongside full-time work, this programme will support small business leaders to develop their strategic skills with key modules covering financial management, innovation and digital adoption.
30,000 places across the UK will be available over 3 years.
UK businesses from any sector that have been operating for more than 1 year, with between 5 to 249 employees are eligible. The programme is 90% subsidised by government – participants will be charged £750.
The participant should be a decision maker or member of the senior management team within the business e.g. Chief Executive, Finance Director etc.
Charities are not eligible.
