Call for volunteers to help at Virtual Mock Assessment Centres for young people

Following the success of last year’s programme, D2N2 Careers Hubs along with Futures, The Early Talent Consultancy and Derby Opportunity Area, are extending Virtual Mock Assessment Centres to make them available to all school students across the region.

The programme gives young people the chance to experience different activities which would typically be used in an assessment centre, meet employers and receive feedback that will support in their future development and maximise their chances of success.

We are looking for volunteers from a range of industries to share their expertise and be assessors. Each session lasts for half a day and assessors will observe, facilitate discussions and conduct short interviews before providing feedback to the students.

By taking part, volunteers will have the opportunity to provide young people with experience and inspire them on the career journey, while boosting their company’s profile with the potential to access untapped talent.

The session last for half a day and volunteers can help out at as many as they’d like.

Sessions take place on:

  • 8th, 9th, 10th March
  • 15th and 17th March
  • 22nd and 24th March

Morning sessions are 9am-12 or 12.30-3pm.
