The Ofsted report stated:

“Adult learners […] thoroughly enjoy their courses. They attend well and display exemplary attitudes to learning. All develop valuable new knowledge, skills and behaviours that prepare them well for careers in the IT and digital marketing sectors.

Learners […] receive high-quality, structured and organised online training. This quickly equips them with technical skills they can deploy in the workplace.

Trainers provide helpful advice and information for adult learners about careers in IT and digital marketing, which they value.”

Fiona Baker, Head of People and Skills at D2N2 LEP said:

“The award of an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rating for Althaus clearly demonstrates the emphasis they place on providing high quality training to meet the needs of employers and learners alike and how Skills Bootcamps can be used to deliver the pipeline of talent that businesses are looking for.

D2N2 LEP is proud to be supporting 1,500 individuals working across different sectors in the East Midlands to access Skills Bootcamps this year and next.”

Althaus Digital CEO, Peter Buller, said:

“This achievement not only validates our commitment to our learners, but also demonstrates the expertise and passion of our amazing team. The East Midlands has huge potential, and we’re dedicated to helping harness that talent by upskilling and reskilling individuals in the areas of cyber security, data analytics, digital marketing, IT solutions and software development; both within our region and nationally.

As we celebrate our third anniversary, we’re proud to have supported over 250 Bootcampers and 100 apprentices into IT/digital employment opportunities, and look forward to continue empowering individuals with the skills they need to thrive in the digital economy.”

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with a local employer.

Fully-funded for learners, Skills Bootcamps are delivered in partnership with employers, further education training providers and universities across the East Midlands.

The training and support available to learners is aligned with local and national demand for skills, ensuring that people have direct line of sight to a job and support people to get skills for life.
