£2m For Retail And Hospitality Retention And Skills Challenges

As part of the UK Futures Programme the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) and Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) have today launched a new opportunity to improve business performance in the retail and hospitality industries. In response to the challenge of low income workers, costly retention, recruitment and skills gaps, UKCES and DWP are looking to co-invest up to £250,000 per successful proposal to develop employer-led solutions from firms or groups of companies of all sizes.

If you are an employer in the retail or hospitality sectors who would benefit from progressing and retaining your workforce, this UK Futures Programme competition is a valuable opportunity.

We are holding webinars on the 22nd and the 24th October that will feature a live Q&A for interested parties. If you would like to register to attend one of our webinars please email: enquiries.futuresprogramme@ukces.org.uk

To find out more about this competition please consult our brief on GOV.UK.  You can also find out more about the UK Futures Programme on our overview page.

The UK Futures Programme is administered by UKCES.  It offers opportunities for businesses across the UK to develop innovative solutions to long-standing or emerging skills issues that are restricting business performance.
