D2N2 is a proud to be a registered employer with the Midlands Mental Health and Productivity Pilot (MHPP), a scheme which provides support to businesses and their employees affected by mental health issues.
By being registered with the programme, we have access to free resources, advice and training along with our employees being able to take part in of some exciting pilots which work towards ensuring that employees are happy, satisfied and able to thrive at work.
The pilots are testing new interventions to support employers and employees who are experiencing mental health issues. They include support and advice for effective and sustainable return to work following long term absence (PROWORK pilot), and the early identification at work and treatment of a number of mental ill health conditions (INWORK pilot).
Experts at universities of Warwick, Birmingham, Loughborough and Nottingham are working with mental health charity Mind, to develop the pilots, which are due to start in June following a screening process. By participating in the digital screening process, at-risk employees will be offered targeted support that could help them to avoid long-term problems and absence from work.
The pilot links employers directly to initiatives such as Every Mind Matters, This is Me and Mental Health First Aid, which all provide expert guidance.
