D2N2 leaders featured among Nottinghamshire’s ‘most influential’ in publication

A ‘Top 200’ of the most influential Nottinghamshire people from the worlds of business, culture, sport, local government and media – published in today’s (September 22) Nottingham Post – features  a number of the senior figures connected to the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership.

The one-off Post supplement includes among its mentions both D2N2’s Chairman, Peter Richardson, and Chief Executive, David Ralph. The D2N2 LEP promotes economic growth and jobs creation across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Nottingham Post Business Editor, Gemma Toulson, says in her introduction to the special supplement that it attempts to profile those who have genuine influence on their particular field or sector, or “on the lives of people living in Nottingham, whether that’s through the services they provide or the organisations they lead”. The names in the supplement were compiled by senior members of the Post’s editorial team. They do not rank the people by level of influence.

Influence

Also included in the supplement are D2N2 Board Members –

Other notable people appearing in the publication are Olympic Gold Medallist Rebecca Adlington, MP for Nottingham North Graham Allen; David Browning, Managing Director of Nottingham life sciences company Medicity; Craig Chettle, CEO of Confetti Media Group; and Malcolm Cowgill, Principal and Chief Executive of Central College Nottingham.

The supplement also features sections on Nottingham companies and public sector authorities, as well as a section on Nottingham and Nottinghamshire’s rich and varied history and heritage in the above areas.
