We’re gearing up for our D2N2 Annual Event and AGM, which is taking place on Thursday 7 December at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK in Burnaston, near Derby, from 12 – 2.30pm.
We are thrilled to have Elizabeth Fagan, Will Morlidge, Mark Rogers and Sally Brewis as our keynote speakers at our important annual event.
Our Chair, Elizabeth Fagan, will provide delegates with an update on D2N2 LEP’s achievements over the past year, and our Chief Executive, Will Morlidge, will talk about the D2N2 Delivery Plan and provide a forward look to the future.
Delegates will hear about the momentous developments in the journey towards East Midlands devolution in the keynote from Mark Rogers, Interim Chief Officer for the East Midlands Devolution Programme. Mark will cover his work preparing for the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA), set to be the first combined county authority in the country, and covering Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire – the whole of the D2N2 region.
Following Mark’s keynote, there’ll be the opportunity for delegates to pose questions to Elizabeth, Will and Mark in the panel session, hosted by Nicola Swaney, our Head of External Affairs, and MC for the event.
Rounding off our event is Sally Brewis, who’ll provide a fascinating insight into what’s been happening since the highly successful launch of East Midlands Hydrogen in September, and how the partnership, set to be the largest inland hydrogen cluster in the UK, is growing.
We look forward to seeing all those who can join us on the day!
