The D2N2 LEP is looking to appoint a new interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) following the announcement that Sajeeda Rose will be leaving the D2N2 LEP at the end of August to take up a new role as Corporate Director for Growth and City Development at Nottingham City Council.
The Board of Directors are seeking a candidate who can lead the company in its next phase of development and provide high-quality leadership to support the D2N2 LEP and its associated public and private sector partner organisations in driving the economic growth of the D2N2 area and the delivery of its strategic priorities.
This is a critical and exciting time to be joining D2N2 with the ongoing national LEP review. The interim role will ensure continuity and pace during the transition year and build on our Economic Growth and Recovery Plan, which sets out our vision for the region, focusing on opportunities in clean growth and decarbonisation, as well as the continued investment in our region to support productivity and inclusive connectivity.
D2N2 LEP Chair Elizabeth Fagan said: “I would like to thank Sajeeda for her leadership and support over the last three years. Her strategic thinking, operational delivery, resilience, integrity, openness and partnership approach have all combined to deliver the strategic economic benefits for the D2N2LEP region, which are there for all to see. I wish her continued success in her new role. ”
“We are now working to ensure the smoothest of transitions to a new interim CEO and are seeking a talented individual to take charge and build on the LEP’s achievements to date.”
