D2N2 Statement on the ongoing events affecting Whaley Bridge.

A partnership is ready to support businesses in Whaley Bridge to recover from the disruption caused by the Toddbrook Reservoir incident.

High Peak Borough Council, Derbyshire County Council, East Midlands Chamber of Commerce and D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership are working together to ensure that the town centre and local businesses are supported in the next few weeks.

Business Support is available from East Midlands Chamber and D2N2 Growth Hub.

We will be in touch with local businesses in the next few days to assist in the recovery.

A dedicated helpline for residents evacuated from in and around Whaley Bridge is open 9am to 10pm. The number is 01629 533190.

Media wanting more information about the D2N2 LEP can contact Luke Stott, D2N2 Digital Marketing Officer, on 0115 9578749 or email: Luke.Stott@d2n2lep.org
