Introduction to 3D Printing Workshop

During November, Future Factory is offering local small and medium sized businesses a free hands-on introduction to 3D printing. The 3-hour workshop will explore every step, from designing to printing using entry level 3D printers.

The workshop is aimed at businesses that are thinking of getting involved with 3D printing but are not sure where to start.  You will learn useful setup and print techniques to help achieve optimal results and be able to discuss your specific design requirements with us.

Delegates who have attended our previous CAD software training can bring the 3D models they created on those sessions.  Newcomers can bring their own 3D designs or use one of the ready-made models that will be available to work with. No formal qualifications are needed, just basic PC or Mac skills. The workshops are running between the 11th and 27th November on either Tuesday evenings (6-9pm) or Thursday afternoons (2-5pm).  The interactive nature of the course means that only limited places are available in each session and priority will be given to new clients who have not worked with Future Factory previously.

To book a place please contact Maria on 0115 848 8675 or e-mail futurefactory@ntu.ac.uk
