D2N2 are delighted to announce that Jackie Wild, Chief Executive of SmartParc Ltd will be a guest speaker at our forthcoming AGM on 24 November.
Jackie Wild is a forward-thinking leader with strong attention to detail. Throughout her career she has developed excellent working relationships within the food industry. She founded TSL, a leading construction group, in 2002 and it became evident that the food industry needed radical change to ensure its future. Then came SmartParc.
Jackie will develop the SmartParc mission with enthusiasm and pride. She works tirelessly to create these revolutionary Parcs, collaborating with businesses to ensure a strong food manufacturing industry for the future.
D2N2 LEP has announced earlier this year it will be investing £12m from the Government’s Getting Building Fund into the large-scale redevelopment of the former Celanese site near Spondon in Derby to create a high-tech food manufacturing and distribution campus.
5,000 jobs will be created directly as a result of the project, which has received grant funding from Derby City Council in addition to that provided by D2N2.
