Open invitation to High Peak Businesses looking to grow

Ambitious businesses in Derbyshire’s High Peak can attend a free ‘Access to Finance for Growth‘ workshop to find out about the latest funding options available to help them grow.

The workshop and networking lunch from 12noon to 4pm on Wednesday June 21, at Glossop Cricket Club, North Rd, Glossop, will be hosted by business support service, the D2N2 Growth Hub, in partnership with High Peak Borough Council.

Growth Hub business advisers will be on hand to discuss the range of funding streams available regionally and nationally to help enterprises expand. There will also be advice on how to put together a funding or grant application, and on traditional banking finance solutions.

John O’Donnell, Business Finance Adviser at the D2N2 Growth Hub (pictured), said: “We have over 50 different funding and support packages for businesses. These can range from a grant to improve an organisation’s IT or a major purchase of equipment, or to enable a company to access technical support from one of the universities to develop new products.

“The workshop is an ideal opportunity for businesses to find out what’s available, whether if fits their business needs and be put in contact with a Growth Hub adviser to give them ongoing support with growth plans.”

The D2N2 Growth Hub is funded through the European Regional Development Fund, via the European Union. Its team includes expert business advisers who offer free, impartial help to small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the D2N2 LEP area (Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire).
