Race to Zero national bus tour to visit Nottingham

The Zero Carbon Tour, a national initiative backed by the UN to promote the brilliant work taking place in our towns and cities to tackle the climate crisis, is set to make a stop in Nottingham.

The event takes place on Friday 24 September from 9.30am – 4.30pm at the Motorpoint Ice Arena

Hosts, Nottingham City Council, will be joined by other public sector organisations in the East Midlands, along with local businesses and universities to discuss the concept of net zero carbon and why it is critical for businesses and other organisations. Visitors can expect to hear carbon stories from local people, organisations and community groups and the impactful projects they are working on to reduce their carbon emissions.

After the presentations there will be a Q&A session and the opportunity to network. This is a unique opportunity to engage with the public and private sector and universities to get an understanding of the business and investment opportunities the path to net-zero presents.

Please note tickets are limited so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
