Social media expert’s free advice session for businesses

A social media and digital marketing expert who has advised clients including the Daily Mail, Speedo and the National Space Centre will be giving free advice to businesses, at a joint D2N2 Growth Hub and Growth Accelerator-organised event.

Nik Hewitt of Nottingham-based Tank PR – who has almost 20 years’ experience in planning award-winning campaigns – will be imparting his knowledge to D2N2 businesses about how to exploit online marketing channels at The Faster Route to Business Growth event at the Trent Bridge stadium in Bridgford Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham (NG2 6AG).

The free event, organised by D2N2 Growth Hub and Growth Accelerator, will run from 4pm to 6.15pm on Wednesday March 18.

The D2N2 Growth Hub was launched in December (2014), by Minister for Business and Enterprise Matt Hancock MP. It acts as the focal point for business support, advice and information by promoting the business services in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. It is part of the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) covering the area.

The D2N2 Growth Hub team will also be on hand to illustrate their comprehensive network of business support and advice on offer to small and medium-sized enterprises with the potential and ambition for growth.

Event partner, GrowthAccelerator, will be speaking on how ambitious businesses can unlock their potential for growth and success.

Light refreshments will be provided.

The free event on March 18 is one of many programmes regularly organised by the D2N2 Growth Hub, to help businesses develop and grow.
