The D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership has launched its new annual review.
The comprehensive 24-page review highlights the positive impact the D2N2 LEP has had in the ten years since its creation, showing how the LEP and its partners are working together and investing in economic growth. Since 2011, the LEP has:
- Secured over 1.5 billion of funding through government and match funding through private and community sectors.
- Helped over 12,000 learners and worked with every school (160) in the region to inspire the next generation of talent.
- Created 16,000 jobs and is on target to deliver an additional 13,000 jobs to the region by 2035.
The annual review provides readers with the latest achievements that have taken place in the region, including major projects funded by our Local Growth Fund and Getting Building Fund allocation. Some of this year’s notable entries include the Vesuvius project in Worksop and SmartParc in Derby.
The publication also shows how we are continuing to work closely with local authorities, business representative groups, our universities and colleges, and the voluntary sector to help businesses get back on their feet and support individuals in improving their skills and finding new jobs.
