D2N2 scoops award for for video campaign

D2N2 has been named winner of the Best of Nottingham 2020 Award for its Creative Video Campaign focusing on funded projects and explaining key initiatives.

Subjects of D2N2 videos include the Local Growth Funded projects such as Nottingham Castle and The Museum of Making, Inclusive Recruitment, and ESIF funding streams.

The awards, organised by web development company Frogspark, are designed to recognise the contribution of SMEs to the city of Nottingham.

The award recognises D2N2s video content as ‘the perfect way to explain to the public the impact D2N2 has within the region.’

D2N2 Digital Lead Luke Stott said, “Video is integral to the D2N2 Marketing & Communications strategy which aims to inform our residents of the positive impact D2N2 has across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.”

“Our videos which focus on all areas of our organisation from funded projects to initiatives such as inclusive recruitment and the Enterprise Adviser Network, have been viewed over 60,000 times since we started publishing them last summer, leading to big increases in impressions and engagement amongst our audience.”

Other winners include Invest in Nottingham, named Best dedicated local business and DoughNotts for Most impressive growth.
