We are delighted to announce that Sally Brewis, Head of Regional Development (East and London) at Cadent, will be one of our keynote speakers at our Annual Event and AGM on Thursday 7 December at Toyota, Burnaston.
Following the highly successful launch event for East Midlands Hydrogen last month, Sally will talk about what’s been happening since the launch and how the partnership is growing.
Sally said:
“I’m really looking forward to speaking at the D2N2 LEP Annual Event and AGM. I’ll be talking about East Midlands Hydrogen, a unique proposition that is set to become the largest inland hydrogen cluster in the UK. Previously known as ‘Megawatt Valley’, the East Midlands is perfectly placed for large-scale low carbon hydrogen production and distribution and we’ve got huge demand from local businesses who want to deploy hydrogen to decarbonise their operations. By connecting that demand with supply through a new 100% hydrogen pipeline network, East Midlands Hydrogen will bring massive economic benefits to the East Midlands.”
Sally has 15 years of experience in the energy industry. Sally heads up Cadent’s participation in East Midlands Hydrogen, as the lead partner alongside D2N2. Her role at Cadent is to create and help to deliver their regional hydrogen strategy for the East and London, starting with regional hydrogen feasibility studies. Her job involves building relationships with government, industry and companies across the hydrogen value chain, promoting a whole systems planning approach and showing how Cadent can help to bring together hydrogen supply and demand.
