Twelve D2N2 businesses named in Midlands TECH50 list

D2N2 is cementing its reputation as a thriving tech region by celebrating the inclusion of twelve tech-based businesses within BusinessCloud’s Midlands Tech50 rankings.

Founded 20 years ago, initially to create 3D visualisations of aircraft engines for Rolls-Royce, Bloc Digital is now one of the UK’s leading immersive digital technology studios, delivering cutting-edge digital visualisation.

The final ranking was decided by a combination of selections from an expert judging panel (see below) and a public vote on the 117-strong shortlist which attracted 1,200 votes.

The short list featured 26 D2N2 businesses from across the region.

Businesses recognised from across the D2N2 region include:

  • Bloc Digital – Derby (10)
  • GeoSLAM – Nottingham (11)
