Project details:

The Invest in D2N2 project targets established SMEs who want to expand and bring new products and services to market and potential entrepreneurs and start-ups, keen to join a thriving UK business sector.

The £2million project promotes activities to increase economic investment in the area. It is delivered by a range of partners:

The project offers tailored support to both indigenous businesses and those based outside of the D2N2 region, who are interested in moving or expanding into the area. The programme aims to support around 350 businesses over its total six years of operation.

In October 2019 a 3-year extension to the project was approved by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) who administers the ERDF funding. This extended the project end date to October 2022.
